At the Aspen Siesta we have a very caring and dedicated staff who work together to make our residents comfortable during their stay at The Aspen Siesta. We have decades of experience and feel honored to be a part of your loved ones care.

Andy Shea
Andy Shea

Graduated from Parsons, College in Fairfield, IW. Her first position in 1988, in Seattle, Washington, was as an administrator in training and then was licensed the following year in 1989 after completing the licensor program. She has worked in many positions and locations in the field, most notably, as the Senior Administrator with Sunhealth and the Regional Director with Life Care. She moved back to Denver in 2006 and has been at the helm as the director of Aspen Siesta since 2016.

Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. She has been in Colorado her whole life and started helping families in long-term care at the age of 15! She has been a social worker for over 29 years and has extra trainings and certifications to address complex psych, behavioral and dementia cases. Sheryl has been serving families at Aspen Siesta since 2016 and loves helping families and residents navigate this season of life.

Sheryl Ludwig
Dyan Lewis

Has been serving people in nursing for over forty years. She spent time as an educator—teaching LPN and CNA students at Emily Griffith during her early years of nursing. She then moved over to long-term care and has been serving residents for 33 years. Dyan has been the Director of Nursing at Aspen Siesta since 2008. It is a privilege to help families and residents everyday at Aspen Siesta maintain their best health.

I started out as a Medical Assistant in 1998 and have done a variety of positions in the medical field such as Unit Secretary, Admissions Director and now my all-time favorite as an Activities Director. I am a proud mother to two beautiful girls and now I have two amazing grand babies I am blessed beyond measures. In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy shopping at Kohl’s and the thrift stores. In the past I used to be my daughter's Girl Scout Leader and have helped on the Soft Ball Team my girls played for. I love spending time with my 84-year-old neighbor Fran. I have also done extreme couponing and used to have my own grocery store in my house.

Robin Miller
Christopher Unrein, DO, FAOGME, FACP, CMP

Christopher Unrein, DO, FAOGME, FACP, CMP is a self-described endangered species called a Colorado Native! His family owned an ambulance service in Denver and he worked there during high school and college. He received a BA in Biology at the University of Colorado at Denver in 1983 and then attended Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Where he graduated in 1988. He is a Life member of the Des Moines University Chapter of the scholastic osteopathic fraternity, Sigma Sigma Phi. After Medical School, he started the internal medicine residency at Mountainside Hospital in Essex County, New Jersey.

Claudia Cummings
Dietary Supervisor

Claudia is the Director of Dietary Services at The Aspen Siesta for the past 4 years and has been in the healthcare industry and culinary field for 40 years. When asked what she enjoys most about her position, she simply states, “I love what I do and I will continue to ensure that our residents get the food that is good to the soul!”

Yvonne has worked under HealthCare Management Systems for the last 17 years. She started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and has worked her way up to working as our Medical Records Director and our Social Services Designee. She has a servants heart and is always going up and beyond her call to help our residents. Yvonne’s hobbies include spending time with her family and learning about the Lord.

Pragati Garg
Admissions/Marketing

Pragati has worked for the Aspen Siesta for close to 7 years as our Admissions Coordinator and Business Manager. She is an important asset to our facility as she works very closely with local case managers at our local hospitals and assists family members on their loved ones placement here at the facility. On her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching a good game of cricket and watching Bollywood movies.

Janet first started at The Aspen Siesta as a volunteer and soon learned that she had a love for seniors and became our Activities Director 8 years ago. Janet is very involved with each resident as it pertains to their daily activities and enjoys getting to know them and their family members. During her spare time, Janet enjoying spending time with her husband and 1 1/2 old daughter, listening to music and is a die hard Chargers fan.

Jerry Marshall
Environmental Services

Jerry has been part of our staff for the last 10 years and when it comes to ensuring that the facility is clean and in excellent working order, Jerry is a perfectionist. Jerry feels that it is an honor to be part of a team that illustrates character of the upmost integrity, kindness and compassion for all of the residents. The safety, comfort and well being for each resident, visitor and employee is his highest priority. During his spare time, Jerry loves to spend time with his lovely wife Diane, Rooting for the Angel’s and weekends camping at the beach.
